Triumph has launched the Tracker 400 in the United Kingdom. It is based on the Triumph Speed 400.

It is priced at GBP 5,745 (approx Rs 6.95 lakh), which is GBP 100 (around Rs 12,000) cheaper than the Scrambler 400 X
The Tracker 400 has a sculpted fuel tank, a flat seat, and a sleek tail - very flat-track-inspired
It also gets the retro-styled circular headlamp, Scrambler 400 X-borrowed exhaust, tracker-style side panels, a pillion seat cowl
The bike gets the 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 42PS and 37.5Nm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, with slip-and assist clutch
Underpinnings include a steel tubular frame, an inverted fork, a monoshock and disc brakes at both ends
It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels (same size as the Speed 400) wrapped in block-pattern tubeless tyres
The bike’s features include an all-LED lighting setup, a semi-digital instrument console, switchable traction control, and dual-channel ABS
While it’s made in India by Bajaj Auto, flat-trackers are not that popular in India, so it’s very unlikely to be launched here
