Get your bike serviced and make sure brake pads, disc and fork seals are in good condition.

Ensure that the bike's headlight, taillight, indicators, and brake lights are working fine and no wire is exposed which can lead to water damage.

Check that tyre tread depth is at least 5 mm and optimum air pressure is in it, which is important to get better grip on the road.

Use waterproof chain lube since mud and water can wash off protection faster in monsoon and can lead to rusting.

Wear a good-quality waterproof jacket, pants, gloves and boots and install Pinlock or anti-fog film on your visor for better visibility.

Staying visible is most important on the road to avoid mishaps. Wear bright/reflective rain gear

Avoid taking new or flood-prone routes in heavy rains, as they may have hidden potholes or bumps.

Avoid sudden acceleration or braking on wet surfaces and ride cautiously.

Use engine braking combined with light brakes, as it reduces the need for hard braking and brings the bike to a stop in a controlled manner.
