The lightest scooter on the list is the Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid at just 98kg (kerb), making tip-overs less scary for new riders and providing them more confidence. Price starts at Rs 77,980 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Special Mention: The TVS XL100 is not a scooter, but at just 88kg (kerb), it is extremely lightweight and has great practicality.
