One look at the bike, and its laid-back cruiser stance is very evident
It carries Enfield’s retro styling & yet gets modern bits like LED headlight (a first for RE)
Beefy metal fenders, chrome-laden bits and a teardrop fuel tank nail the cruiser look
The brushed aluminum switchgear is a first for an RE
The Super Meteor 650 also gets adjustable levers, another first for RE
It is powered by the same 648cc engine as the Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650
Underpinnings include a 43mm Showa USD (yet another first for RE) & twin shocks
Braking is carried out by 320mm front and 300mm rear discs
It rolls on 19/16-inch alloys wrapped in 100/90 front and 150/80 rear Ceat Zoom Cruz tyres
The Super Meteor 650 is a heavyweight; at 241kg, it is 39kg heavier than Interceptor 650
It will be available in three variants – Astral, Interstellar and Celestial
