The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 has been launched at Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

The bike shares the same design as the Himalayan 411 but gets a bigger engine and new features.
Himalayan 440 comes in three colour options: Nelong White, Sela Black and Mustang Brown.
The bike is powered by a 443 cc air-oil-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
This engine makes 25.4 PS at 6,250 rpm and 34 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
It features an updated semi-digital instrument console with a Tripper pod and a Royal Enfield badge.
The feature set is fairly simple: an analogue speedometer with a digital inset, Tripper display for turn-by-turn navigation, an LED headlight, and a USB type-C charging port.
For safety, the bike is equipped with switchable dual-channel ABS but misses out on traction control.
To mark 10 years of the Himalayan legacy, it gets a 10-year anniversary badge on the 15-litre tank.
Suspension is handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork with 200 mm of wheel travel and monoshock with 180 mm of wheel travel.
The bike gets 800 mm of seat height, 220 mm of ground clearance and a kerb weight of 196kg.
