KTM India has teased a new bike on its social media handles. We’re certain that it’s the KTM 160 Duke.

The KTM 160 Duke is expected to be launched this month, and could share parts with the 200 Duke.

The engine will most likely be a downsized version of the 200 Duke's engine and will be less powerful than the 200.

However, since the displacement will be bigger than Yamaha MT 15's 155cc heart, it could make more power than the MT 15 which makes 18.4PS & 14.1Nm.

Currently the 200 Duke gets a split trellis frame, along with a 43mm inverted fork and rear monoshock with preload adjustability. This will be carried over in the baby Duke as well.

It uses a 300mm front disc with a four piston caliper and a 230mm rear disc with a single piston caliper.

The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The 160 will also get the same setup.

Other parts like the handlebar, footpegs, and the seat are also expected to remain unchanged.

The 160 Duke is also expected to feature a coloured TFT display with smartphone connectivity along with dual-channel ABS and LED lights.

Once launched, the 160 Duke is going to give a much tougher competition to the MT 15.
