Ather Electric’s CEO Tarun Mehta took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the introduction of transparent body panels on a new variant

Unlike last time, the rear panel will not be translucent, but instead, transparent.

Ather in 2020 had launched a special collectors edition of the 450X, called the 450X Series 1 that featured black translucent body panels

The model was only available to a few early adopters of the Ather 450X

The upcoming variant could also be a special edition

It could also get a different colour scheme and perhaps a redesigned UI

Expect the mechanicals to remain more or less unchanged
