Honda has launched the Vario Evo 160 overseas starting at Rp 28,525,000 (about Rs 1.5 lakh).

It looks sporty with split LED headlights and youthful colour options.

The scooter gets three variants: CBS, CBS Nitro, and ABS.

The CBS variant gets two colour options: Glossy Blue Lime, and Glossy Red White.

The CBS Nitro variant gets two colour options: Nitro Matte Black Red, and Nitro Glossy Grey Lime.

The ABS variant has 4 colour options: Ultimate Matte Black, Ultimate Matte White, Ultimate Matte Red, and Ultimate Glossy Purple.

Vario Evo 160 is powered by a 157cc liquid-cooled engine producing 15.4PS at 8,500rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm.

It gets a digital LCD console, keyless ignition, a USB type-C charger, 18 litres of boot space and a glove box.

For safety, the scooter gets single-channel ABS or CBS (combined braking system), depending on the variant.

It gets a rear disc brake in the ABS variant and a drum brake in the other two variants.

The Vario has 14-inch tubeless tyres at both ends.

The kerb weight of the CBS variant is 116kg, whereas the ABS variant weighs 118kg.
