Honda has launched the CB500 at a starting price of Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)
It is available in 3 variants: Alloy, Spoke and Spoke with Stripes
The base variant gets alloy wheels. while the other two get tubleless spoked wheels
The CB500’s design is inspired from its sibling, the CB350
The bike comes in 5 colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Rebel Red Metallic 2, Mat Steel Silver Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray & Peal Igneous Black (Stripes)
Powering the bike is a 501 cc air/oil-cooled engine
The motor produces 28.1 PS and 43.3 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox
The bike gets switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS as standard
It has a semi-digital console and all-LED lighting
The bike is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers
Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at both ends
Rivals the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Classic 650, and the BSA Gold Star 650
Deliveries will most likely begin from early next year
