We recently rode the new Xtreme 250R, and here’s what we think about the bike after our riding experience

The sleek, low slung headlight gives the bike an aggressive and sporty look

The 250cc motor is smooth and provides enough low and mid-range performance for both commuting and spirited riding

The bike can cruise on the highway at 100kmph in sixth gear — This is the bike’s sweet spot without any significant vibrations

Hero has nailed the suspension tuning again, with a slightly firm setup that doesn't get unsettled when going through bumps and undulations

Brakes have adequate stopping power but lack the much necessary initial bite

Gets the same monochrome LCD from the Karizma with smartphone connectivity along with turn-by-turn navigation

The bike is quite comfortable to use with a seat height of 806mm — Can put both feet down comfortably

It is a proper do-it-all bike with enough capability for every situation: be it city, highways or riding spiritedly along corners

For its price tag, the Xtreme 250R will be a worthy contender to the 250 Duke
