Hero unveiled a new top-end variant of its 160cc streetfighter, called the Hero Xtreme 160R Combat Edition.

The Combat Edition is expected to be priced around Rs 5,000 more than the standard variant which costs Rs 1,29,614 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
It gets an exclusive grey and black colour scheme, with fluorescent yellow graphics that looks really nice
The bike has a new, sharper-looking headlamp with LED DRLs, whereas the rest of the bodywork remain the same
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition gets a new colour LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and other features
The bike has an electronic throttle, a cruise control system and three riding modes: Rain, Road and Sports
It also has a ‘Panic Brake Alert’ system that switches on both the front and rear indicators along with the tail lamp in emergency braking situations
It is still powered by the same 163.2cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 16.9PS and 14.6Nm
This top-spec Xtreme 160R still rolls on 17-inch wheels, and comes with disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition rivals the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Suzuki Gixxer 150.
