Hero Glamour X: Review In Images

The Hero Glamour X 125 is Hero’s most feature-loaded 125cc commuter yet

Gets sharper styling than the regular Glamour with a redesigned fuel tank, LED headlamp, large windscreen, and chrome accents

Offered in five vibrant colour schemes, with Candy Blazing Red being the most striking

Build quality is improved, but plastics still feel flimsy, switchgear quality feels a little average

Segment-first cruise control functions really well in the real world. That said, it is not all that useful, especially when commuting on busy highways

Gets three ride modes (Eco, Road and Power); the difference in throttle response can be felt on each mode with Eco being most laidback

Colour-LCD console is easy to read, even in harsh sunlight. It supports smartphone connectivity for call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation

Powered by a 124.7cc engine producing 11.55PS and 10.5Nm, with noticeably better refinement and throttle response than the Glamour Xtec

Performs well in the city with peppy acceleration, light clutch action, and agile handling

Can comfortably cruise at 70-80kmph on highways, though feels strained beyond 90kmph

Has a claimed mileage of 65kmpl, easy to achieve the same in the real world as well

Comfortable, upright riding posture, accessible 790mm seat height, and roomy seating for rider and pillion

Suspension is slightly firm but stable, with ride quality improving further with a pillion onboard

Priced between Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999, it rivals the Honda SP125, TVS Raider 125, and Bajaj Pulsar N125
