Royal Enfield has launched the updated Interceptor 650 abroad with modern bits, here’s what’s new

Out with the spoke wheels, in with the alloys with tubeless tyres

Hardware like the engine, underpinnings and exhausts are now blacked out for a stealthy appeal

New LED headlight, borrowed from the Super Meteor 650, instead of the old halogen unit

Gets rotary-style switchgear instead of the conventional unit, along with a USB charging port

Gets new colours - Black Ray and Barcelona Blue

Interceptor costs GBP 6,599 (around Rs 6.56 lakh); GT 650 costs GBP 6,799 (around Rs 6.76 lakh). Both are around Rs 55,700 more expensive than the standard models.
