We have ridden the Harley-Davidson X440 & here’s what we think about its real world performance

Design looks inspired from the Harley-Davidson XR series of the past

Overall looks decent, but the fit & finish levels are not as good as the premium Harleys

Powered by a 440cc air/-oil-cooled engine – Produces 27PS & 38Nm

Offers a strong bottom end pull & impressive midrange performance – Can easily maintain 100kmph without strain

Feels very stable – Is agile & effortlessly leans into corners – Not like a typical Harley

Decent braking performance but the feedback from the front brake is a bit slow – Braking in traffic has to be planned way before

Wide and flat handlebar along with the mid set footpegs offers a comfortable riding experience

Gets a 3.5-inch TFT display – Simple and clean layout – Easy to read & offers ample information

Overall an enjoyable motorcycle thanks to its torquey nature and stunning handling characteristics
