Kawasaki has launched the Z1100 in India at Rs 12,79,000 (ex-showroom)

Replaces the Kawasaki Z1000, still sits between the Z900 and supercharged Z H2
Uses Kawasaki’s signature ‘Sugomi’ design, and comes only in the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Gray colour
Powered by a 1,099cc liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine making 136PS and 113Nm
It’s paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter, slip-and-assist clutch
Motor shared with the Ninja 1100SX and Versys 1100
Gets an aluminium frame, 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork, link-type monoshock, and Dunlop Sportmax tyres
The front wheel travel is 120mm, rear 136mm, and seat height 815mm
Has dual 310mm semi-floating front discs with Brembo Monobloc calipers, and a single 260mm rear disc
Gets cruise control, traction control modes, engine brake control, wheelie control, slide control, ABS modes, and riding modes
Also has cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and lights are all-LED
It’s equipped with a 5-inch TFT console that has Bluetooth connectivity, and more features via the Rideology app
These include turn-by-turn navigation, phone alerts, voice commands, and real time ride data
Deliveries are set to begin from the end of November 2025
