We rode the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z recently & here’s what we think about it

Design doesn't feel special & the bike looks too similar to the other bikes in the Pulsar NS series
Powered by the same 373.3cc engine as the Dominar 400 – Offers peppy acceleration & can cruise at highway speeds effortlessly
But vibrations start creeping in at 120kmph & get worse progressively
Suspension setup is a bit towards the firmer side – Can’t handle sharp bumps & potholes easily
Doesn’t get a radial tyre at front – Makes it feel a bit unpredictable when braking hard or leaning into corners
Brakes have good bite – Brings the bike to a halt quickly and effortlessly
An overall comfortable riding experience thanks to the wide upright handlebar & well padded seat
Features a LCD instrument console with a dot-matrix inset – Gets smartphone connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation
The NS400Z also gets ride-by-wire throttle – Comes with traction control & 4 riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport & Off-Road)
Handlebar now comes with a 4-directional switchgear on the left to navigate the console – Very convenient & easy to use
Overall, the NS400Z is a value for money proposition thanks to its affordable price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
