Hero MotorCorp and Ather Energy have partnered up to set up an interoperable fast charging network across India.

Both Hero VIDA and Ather scooters can be charged at the same grid

Customers can locate charging stations using the My VIDA and Ather Apps

The combined network will cover 100 cities with over 1900 fast charging points.

This will be India’s first (and largest, if the plans fully materialise) interoperable fast charging network for electric two-wheelers

This comes in after Ather made its fast charging connector open for sharing with other EV makers in August 2021

It uses a BIS-approved (Bureau Of Indian Standards), India’s 1st indigenously developed AC-DC combined charging connector. It’s also open to be used by any other EV makers
