Government backed FAME-II subsides on e-scooter will be lower starting 1st June

Before: Cap was Rs 15k per kWh of battery capacity with a maximum cap of 40% of ex-factory price of e-2 wheelers

The new allowance under FAME-II will be Rs 10k per kWh or just 15% of ex-factory price

Hence, the cost of the Ather 450X will shoot up by Rs 32,500

Currently the 450X with and without Pro Pack cost - Rs 1.16 & Rs 1.46 (ex-showroom Delhi Incl. FAME II & charger)
