Ather rolls out a new (80 percent cut-off) charging protocol across its fast charging Ather Grid

Ather claims it will help optimally charge your 450X & 450Plus while reducing waiting time for other customers too
It stated that by disconnecting the solenoid, charging of your e-scoot will stop for safety reasons like arcing (spark between battery terminals) or catching fire
Solenoid is an electromagnetic safety mechanism in the e-scooter which connects/disconnects the electrical circuit
This could also be the beginning of Ather slowly transitioning from free charging to a paid model
At present Ather has over 1000 fast charging grids across 80 cities
Currently the Ather 450 Plus and 450X cost Rs 1,27,092 and Rs 1,50102 (Ex-showroom Delhi | Incl. FAME II)
