Honda recently unveiled the all-new CB500 roadster in India, and it looked quite similar to the existing CB350 series, but had some significant changes

The engine casing was finished in brushed aluminium, which gave it a premium feel
There was a ribbed seat, a slim tear drop-shaped fuel tank, and fork gaiters, which further enhanced its retro stance
Its had a 501 cc single-cylinder, air & oil-cooled motor producing 28.1 PS, 43.3 Nm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox
There was a conventional telescopic fork, and twin rear shock absorbers, both from Showa
It had a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel setup
The CB500 will be manufactured in India, and will be available in three variants: Alloy, Spoke Tubeless, and Spoke Tubeless with Graphics
The CB500 had a similar looking analogue console with a digital inset as on the CB350 series. For safety the CB500 had dual channel ABS, and switchable traction control
It is expected to be launched during the festive season in September 2026, priced at around Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
Currently there is no direct competition for the Honda CB500, but it will compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, and the BSA Scrambler 650.
