I have completed 1400 Kms run till date & 1 year 4 months on my Honda CB trigger(Std) bike.I fell in love with this bike after purchasing as it gives me pleasure of comfort, riding & handling .I would say its a bike for those who wants a 150-cc power with style & Economy and also designed for daily commuting purpose. It has an outstanding economy with an average of 53 Km/ltr even riding at the speeds of 70-75-km/hr.I am very happy to own such a 150-cc bike.Like many Indian Bikers, I am a bike enthusiast so I want other features in my bike except economy factor. That's why I will share the Riding quality, performance & throttle response of this bike for every RPM rating in the next lines.
Trigger is light & nimble for city riding with vibration less high speeds 90-100 km/hr in highways which gives a real 150-cc bike feel.I achieved a top speed of 112 km/hr with my CB-trigger in the Highway(very exciting).
Now coming to its performance & features:
1)Plus point is that The engine is so good & refined that it does not get stressed at the speed of 75-90 Km running easily at the high RPMs of 7000-8000 .
2)If you twist the throttle hard it can easily accelerate 0-60kmph within 5.50 secs.
3) I liked the large mid range torque at RPM range: 4000 to 5500(i.e at Speed-53-73km/hr).Which is very useful & enjoyable in City & Highway riding to over-take other vehicles easily.
4)Its speed reaches 86km/hr at 6500 at which its stability is excellent. And I further accelerated to reach its top speed of 112Km/hr at 8250RPM.But Its stability starts reducing at speed more than 103Km/hr at 8000RPM than the earlier.
5)Its a Bike with Low maintenance requirement.
I got a very few cons for this machine but I must share these with the future buyers.
1)Lack of Pull at the initial acceleration(1st & 2nd Gear), experienced when riding with pillion. But an increase in engine RPM with a bit throttle can easily tackle this condition.
2)Initially after purchasing got problem in the irregular fuel supply/fuel choke in the fuel valve. But it had been rectified in 1st servicing.
Overall this is a Reliable Honda machine to own for style, comfort, power & economy with lowest maintenance within 70k-80k rupees. So, I say GO for it.
