The TVS Jupiter ZX Disc has been updated with the new TVS intelliGo feature at no extra cost. It continues to be priced at Rs 72,347 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The TVS Jupiter is the brand’s best-selling 110cc scooter in the country. Its neutral design, comfortable ride quality, and practicality have made it one of the most sought-after scooters from the Hosur-based brand. The BS6-compliant version of the Jupiter (Classic variant) was launched in the country in November 2019. The rest of the variants were launched in the following months.

The TVS Jupiter BS6 is available in five variants: Sheet Metal Wheel, Standard, ZX (drum), ZX disc with IntelliGo, and Classic priced at Rs 63,497, Rs 65,497, Rs 68,247, Rs 72,347 and Rs 72,472 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

 

TVS Jupiter Features:

The Jupiter ZX disc now comes with TVS intelliGo technology, which turns off the engine while idling for a long time in traffic. A gentle twist of the throttle turns the engine back on. This feature helps in improving the scooter’s mileage as well as reducing the emissions on traffic-riddled roads. The scooter also comes with an all-in-one ignition key slot for extra convenience. The Jupiter BS6 now comes equipped with an LED headlight as compared to the previous halogen unit. Since it’s fuel-injected, it comes with a check-engine light too. It also gets a large 21-litre underseat storage compartment and a sizable 2-litre cubbyhole on the back of the apron as well as mobile phone charging.

 

TVS Jupiter Engine:

The TVS Jupiter BS6 continues to be powered by the same 109.7cc single-cylinder engine that it has always used, but the motor is now fuel-injected to help it comply with BS6 emission norms. It currently generates 7.47PS and 8.4Nm which is 0.51PS less than the BS4 version, but torque remains the same.

 

TVS Jupiter Suspension & Brakes:

Suspension duties on the TVS Jupiter are handled by a conventional telescopic fork and 3-step preload-adjustable monoshock. The Jupiter was previously offered with an optional front disc brake in the BS4 model, but now except for the ZX disc variant, it only gets drum brakes at both ends. At 109kg, the BS6 scooter is 1kg heavier than before.
