Launched in September 2014 Suzuki Gixxer is giving tough competition in India's 150cc segment, aggressive looks, decent styling and most importantly a good mileage makes it different from other bikes in the same segment.

Design, & Build Quality
the bike design is such that it makes the heads go turn which is not expected in this segment. The tank of the bike gives it a muscular looks and a sharp headlamps gives it a different appeal in public. The switches and other plastic components are of almost good quality. Rear mono shock suspension can be adjusted as required and as according to road condition. The alloy is given as Y shape which gives it a different look.
coming to rear of the bike it is provided with a LED tail lamps and two piece mudguard which can be removed when required. Twin shaped exhaust makes the bike more premium.
Suzuki has changed the game by providing a fully digital instrumentation which contains odo-meter, two trip meter, numeric speed meter, fuel level meter apart from this it also shows gear and time which is very rare in this segment.

Engine and Performance
The Gixxer has produces a 14.8 PS at 8,000 revs and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm from its carburetted, SOHC, 2-valve 155 cc motor.(Official figure).
Hence, the power and torque figures are better than 150 cc segment bikes like Hero Xtreme and Yamaha FZ-FI.

Handling and Braking
Just one word for awesome for the handling of this bike. Seriously Suzuki Gixxer left behind Yamaha FZ in terms of handling and braking. Confidence is at a whole new level while riding this bike. It doesn't skid while braking in speed thanks to the Byebre brakes and MRF Zappers tyres .

Fuel efficiency
India's favorite question regarding bike is fuel efficiency, and if it is 150cc bike this question becomes important. Thanks to Suzuki SEP technology it gives 50 km/l in city commuting and 52-53 in long run. Hence it's 12 L fuel tanks gives it total of 600 km when filled completely.

Last words
Since it has been almost one year i am riding this bike there hasn't been a single problem which makes me regret for owing this bike. From looks to mileage, from handling to power its just wow. The only thing it misses is the rear disc brakes not even optional. Leaving this this the best motorcycle in this segment which extract every penny spent.

Thanks for reading.
