i had my doubts and concerns when i decided to buy a new bike. i was tuck in between yamaha fz and gixxer, and in the end i chose gixxer ,the standard model.
my main concern was price, i had a tight budget, the very first thing which attracted me is the design of the bike, its not so sporty/flashy like r15 or naked like duke. just a clever mix of both.it looks sporty and standard as well.it suits everyone be it a teen or a professinal. but just design is not enough. the first test drive blew all my doubts away,handling is just superb, you can easily go through the curves,no need to worry about skidding or any such, it has got big tyres. the seating position is comfortable , but not so great for the rear passenger , the seat could've been a little more wider.

it has good good acceleration, i am getting a mileage in between 40-45 for long drive.it really feels smooth in driving.
i would recommend this bike to anyone.no doubt just go for it.

a word of advice , better not go for the sporty editoin , the bulgings on either side could easily break if bike fell down.
