    Q.

What is better suzuki gixxer sf 150 or yamaha fz s v3. Iam looking for comfort, mileage, enginereliabilityand maintenance. And suzuki gear box is little harder when compared to yamaha fzs in testride.. Is thatcommon for new bikes or is it just for suzuki.. Will that come to normal..

Both bikes have reliable engines and both are easy for pocket to maintain. If we talk about Suzuki Gixxer SF, with its premium quality and fit and finish, the Suzuki Gixxer is an undoubtedly impressive motorcycle. But this premiumness comes at a price. The massive hike is hard to justify and the BS6 update has robbed it of performance. It would be a great pick if you want a faired bike with descent performance and fuel efficiency. The 5-speed gearbox has improved its shift quality, but there’s still scope for improvement. On the other hand, in nearly every aspect, except maybe ergonomics and braking, the Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 fails to impress. While its motor offers better fuel efficiency compared to the previous-gen model, it lacks grunt. You may compare both the bikes accordingly.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine. The BS6 motor now puts out 13.6PS at 8000rpm and 13.8Nm at 6000rpm, which is 0.5PS and 0.2Nm less than the BS4 mill. There are no changes to report on the five-speed transmission though.
