It's a perfect cruiser, fully classic design, uncompromising stability, and a great legacy. But this is till the past decade, now it's an old school classic cruiser keeping its sales on just because of 100 years legacy rather than it's performance. In the design perspective, it's a very good cruiser for long and longest drives. It is stable on highways as well as in closest corners of ghat roads. The seating position is as relax as a sofa for both rider and pillion. Breaking is good enough but not the best to stop a 2000kgs (approximate) bulky machine at a 100 kmph. Now coming to the power, if we look at the displacement:Weight: power ratio, the power is very very very low. The engine is trying harder and harder, struggling a lot to pull its weight. The throttle it very hard like Autorickshaw. Talking about mileage, due to heavy components it's compromising the mileage. Now there are lot more options in the market in 300 cc segment, we have power cruisers, naked sports fully fared sports bikes and cruisers. Maybe RE should concentrate more on mechanical changes rather than cosmetic changes.
