First off, Royal enfield is technologically laggard. All of their bike are having mostly the same substandard (in efficiency, performance and emission)
On top of their substandard bikes, they have very bad staff, both service and customer support.
Specifically Thunderbird is a poorly designed bike. I felt lack of pick-up, Excessive vibration at higher rpm and great difficulty in getting it above 60 KMph!
Take my word, Don't go for an RE bike. This whole RE fever is a lie. If RE stays like this, they will be doomed in no time.
Note: I owned a Thunderbird-350 which gave me headache almost every day, In the form of loose nuts and bolts owing to bike vibration! The service staff at the showrooms have little knowledge in fixing your bike. and on top of this, They are down right rude.
In short, get something worthwhile for your money, Like potatoes, Instead of Royal Enfield bikes.
