The Hunter 450 will be a more affordable roadster version of the Himalayan 450, and is likely to be priced at around Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 employs a fork clamp mounted headlight, single piece contoured seat, and lacks tank braces as well. The motorcycle will be powered by the same liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan 450. It’s expected to make around 40PS. More importantly, the Hunter 450 rides on a telescopic fork and monoshock unlike the ADV’s inverted fork up front. The alloy wheels in the spy shots seem to be 17-inch units at both ends, wrapped with block pattern tyres in the latest spy shot.
The Hunter 450 will compete against the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
