Latest Update on Royal Enfield

• The latest Royal Enfield bikes launched in India are the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The Himalayan 450 was launched in late 2023 whereas the Shotgun 650 was launched in early 2024. 

• Royal Enfield will launch multiple bikes based on the 450cc and the 650cc engine platforms. In fact, the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 (based on the Himalayan 450’s platform) was recently spotted testing.

• Additionally, new colours for the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 were also launched.

• The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Flex fuel was also revealed recently. It can run on a fuel blend of 25 percent petrol and 85 percent ethanol.

• The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Royal Enfield  Continental GT650 were also updated with alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, LED headlight and new switchgear too.

• The brand is developing a new upcoming Royal Enfield electric bike. As per Royal Enfield MD, Siddhartha Lal, it will be made for commuting in the city as opposed to touring on the highways.
