As seen in the above tables, the price increase is very marginal. However, considering that the Japanese bikemaker has enforced these price revisions numerous times this year, the current prices do look steep when compared to the prices at the start of the year.

Despite this hike, the R15S is almost Rs 26,000 less expensive than the KTM RC 125 while packing more power and better features. The R15M, on the other hand, might still be a whole lot cheaper than the KTM RC 200 (which retails for Rs 2,14,688, ex-showroom Delhi), but it's still only a 150cc bike retailing for nearly Rs 2 lakh. Even the Aerox 155’s hike isn’t too substantial and it still presents itself as an interesting performance-focused scooter.
