The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has led to various bikemakers temporarily halting production but that has not stopped important news from rolling in. Bikemakers around the world continue to launch vehicles via online announcements while significant acquisitions continue to happen. Here are the most important news from last week:

Xiaomi Electric Scooter launched in China:

It weighs just 12.5kg and has a top speed of 25kmph. The Mijia Scooter 1S can be folded to fit in a small backpack yet has features like a digital instrument console, rider modes, disc brake and even ABS! Also, it has this tiny side stand that allows you to prop the scoot on its own. And it costs less than the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro smartphone. Know more about this smart electric scooter here. 

Kawasaki’s electric bike has a name!

Kawasaki calls it the Endeavor. The Ninja 300 sized electric motorcycle gets a 4-speed gearbox! It is styled similar to the baby Ninja and uses its suspension components and wheels. The electric motor is expected to offer around 19kW of power, enough to keep things interesting. Head here for more details.
