The past week saw a few high profile launches as well as updated technology getting introduced in existing two wheelers. Honda revealed the prices of its new H’Ness CB350 while BMW reintroduced the G 310 R and G 310 RS in BS6 guise. Suzuki launched Bluetooth connectivity features in its scooters while Bajaj is set to offer something similar on its motorcycles. Here’s the past week in a nutshell:

 

Honda H’Ness CB350 Prices Revealed:

The new Classic 350 rival from Honda is priced well below Rs 2 lakh, even for the higher spec DLX Pro variant. The new retro motorcycle impresses when compared to the competition on paper and has a lot of interesting bits. Check out the prices and more details about the Highness here.

 

BMW G 310 R And G 310 GS Launched:

The new BMW twins get a new look and a massive price cut. The new G 310 R undercuts the current VFM king, the KTM 390 Duke while the G 310 GS now costs significantly less than the 390 Adventure. Here are more details and prices of the updated motorcycles

 

Suzuki Scooters Get Bluetooth:

The Suzuki Access 125 now gets a new variant with a fully digital instrument console. Both the Access 125 and Burgman Street new variants now feature Bluetooth connectivity with app-based features like navigation alerts and call/SMS alerts on the instrument console. KTM RC Range Gets Sportier:

No the bikes do now get a more powerful motor or updated underpinnings. The RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390 now get a new livery that makes it look more premium. Check out the new colours here. Besides, the KTM RC 390 gets new tyres. However, that might not be good news for enthusiasts. 

 

Bajaj Motorcycles Connected Features:

Like TVS and Suzuki, Bajaj too is expected to offer Bluetooth connectivity on its motorcycles. The bikemaker has trademarked the Neuron name and could soon offer Bluetooth on its premium Dominar and Pulsar range of motorcycles as well as its first electric scooter, the Chetak. Knowing Bajaj’s penchant for going the extra mile, we can expect a lot of industry first features. What could they be? Here’s what we think.
