Ola Electric just recently launched their first electric bike, the Roadster X. It has been priced between Rs 74,999 and Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru), introductory till 11th February 2025. After that, the prices will increase to Rs 89,999 to Rs 1,09,999. It comes in a total of three variants, depending on battery pack size: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh. The claimed IDC range for all is 117km, 159km, and 200km respectively. And the top speed is 105kmph, 117kmph, and 124kmph respectively.
Hero Splendor Plus
The Hero Splendor Plus is the most sold two-wheeler in the world and an iconic, reliable commuter bike with excellent mileage. It is also known for its long term durability and low maintenance costs. It is another great option for daily commutes and short trips. This Ather scooter gets features like Google Maps navigation and integrated WhatsApp and Alexa. Its design is built around city commuting, with a large underseat storage space as well, adding to its practicality as a scooter.
Oben Rorr EZ
The Oben Rorr EZ is the only other electric bike on this list and a direct rival to the Ola Roadster X. It offers a claimed IDC range of 175km and top speed of 100kmph, making it a good option for daily city commuting. The Rorr EZ’s linear performance is meant for short distance travel mainly.

- Oben Rorr EZ - Amazing designThis bike is very classy & stylish and has great features and design. the range offered is 178km but am getting almost 110 range. The city mode performs well and the pickup is impressive. I had taken the test ride before purchasing. the seat could be more comfortable. Honestly it is very cost efficient and also eco friendly. Ride is good. Since there are different modes, the havoc mode and city mode is better. the modes and range is good but it has a limited turning radius that needs to be improved. Overall it is a good bike. Yes i definetly recommend this bike. It is good for folks in college and for youth since it has a amazing design and features. It also felt more stable compared to other evs i checked , the spacious seat and storage made it perfect choice for my daily use and short family rides. The ride has been really enjoyable so far ive covered around 850 km and use it mostly for daily commuting . The seat is very comfortable , handling is smooth and acceleration feels instant. Suspension does a great job on both city roads and bumps. It easily reaches 80 kmph and even with three people it goes up to 60 without struggle. The range I get is around 90 km , which is perfect for my needs. Yes, absolutely If you are someone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish EV for daily rides, Ather Rizta is a great choice.
