New Hero Electric Scooter Teased Before Unveiling At Auto Expo 2020

The company will also introduce a new product lineup at the expo

Hero Electric has teased an electric scooter that is set to debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 on February 5. The brand has also revealed that it will take the wraps off its new product lineup. We can expect multiple electric scooters and if we’re lucky, an electric motorcycle too. 

Going by the teaser image shared on social media, the scooter will come with a sporty apron with LED headlamp and LED DRLs on the handlebar cowl. Being a mass-market electric two-wheeler maker, Hero Electric is likely to price the scooter competitively. An ex-showroom price of Rs 80,000 would be a fair assumption for this upcoming electric scooter. 

Other details are scarce as of now. However, considering all recently launched modern electric scooters have received connectivity features, expect the upcoming Hero Electric scooter to get at least some form of connectivity.

Once launched, the upcoming Hero Electric scooter will primarily compete against the Okinawa Praise Pro in its segment. Meanwhile, an electric motorcycle reportedly from Hero Electric has also been spotted. Going by the spy shots, it featured a muscular streetfighter design, meaty tyres, and a belt drive.
