Here is the recently unveiled Aldo Drudi's Burasca 1200, a custom designed motorcycle based on the Honda VFR1200F.

Drudi Performance, the Italian firm which is known for its customised helmets including those made for MotoGP star Valentino Rossi, has tried their hands at customising a motorcycle for the first time ever, and the results are just jawdropping. Meet the Burasca 1200.

Based on the Honda VFR1200F, Drudi and his team designed and created the Burasca 1200 concept bike at their 'Air Garage' and it took 15 months to fully complete the project.

The Honda VFR1200F is touring machine with longer suspension like an adventure-sport machine, however, its bodywork and dynamics make it a sport-tourer. The bike comes powered by a 1,237cc, liquid-cooled, V-four engine that has been kept untouched in this conversion. Along with the engine, the original frame and the cardan drive have also been maintained in the Burasca, while everything else has been completely redesigned.

Besides its aggressive styling, the Drudi Burasca 1200 gets some high-quality equipment like the Öhlins NIX30 forks at the front and TTX36GP shock at the rear. However, the team chose not to use the ABS unit from the donor bike. The bike uses a custom Akrapovic exhaust, made exclusively for this concept.

Using aluminium wheels made by Fast Mec and some other lighter cycle parts, the Drudi Burasca 1200 weighs a convenient 30kg less than the original VFR. Another factor contributing to the weight reduction is the carbon-fibre fairing that also helps the bike in providing an agiler performance under both acceleration and braking.
