Here is what we believe the products can be priced at

Keeway, a Chinese-owned Hungarian auto-manufacturer, marked its entry into the Indian market last week, on May 17, with the unveiling of the K-Light 250V, Sixties 300i and Vieste 300. The auto maker is all set reveal the prices and the complete set of features of the three products tomorrow on May 27.

Powered by a 249cc, air-cooled, V-twin engine, the Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle is the only 250cc V-twin bike in India currently, making it a rather unique product. It produces 18.7PS and 19Nm, which is pretty mediocre for a quarter-litre cruiser. For perspective, the Bajaj Avenger Cruiser 220 makes 19.03PS and 17.55Nm from its single-cylinder 220cc air-cooled engine with oil cooler. We estimated the bike to be priced at Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and we have to wait only a day more to find out if our estimation is correct.

The Sixties 300i is the most powerful retro scooter in India. It is propelled by a 278.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 18.7PS and 19Nm, same as the Vieste 300, which is a proper maxi-scooter that sits right between the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the really expensive BMW C 400 GT. Apart from the intriguing design and styling elements, both the scooters are also equipped with the safety net of disc brakes and dual channel ABS as standard.

Both the maxi and retro-themed scooter can be expected to be priced around Rs 2.3 - 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Stay tuned to Bikedekho for updates on the prices and features of these bike and scooters and all things two-wheeler.
