The Brixton Crossfire 500X has been launched in China

In China, it is called the Gaokin GK 500 Crossover Edition.
Is powered by a 500cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing 47.5PS and 43Nm.
Packs sophisticated underpinnings and spoke wheels with block pattern tyres.
Claimed mileage is 25kmpl.

The Brixton Crossfire 500X has been launched in China as the Gaokin GK500 Crossover Edition (if the translations are correct). This motorcycle is a more premium version of the standard Crossfire 500. The price is yet to be announced, but the regular variant retails at CNY 34,800 (around Rs 4 lakh) in the country. Expect this variant to be dearer by an equivalent of around Rs 20,000.

The Gaokin GK500 Crossover Edition comes with wider handlebars, illuminated switchgear, new handlebar grips, a more premium ribbed seat, and standard engine guards. The lighting system is all-LED, and the motorcycle packs a full-colour digital instrument cluster as well.

The Gaokin GK500 is powered by a 500cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine (paired to a 6-speed transmission) pushing out 47.5PS at 8500rpm and 43Nm at 6750rpm. The motorcycle can reach a claimed top speed of 160kmph and a claimed mileage of 25kmpl.

It packs modern underpinnings in the form of an inverted front fork, rear monoshock, a 320mm front disc with radial J.Juan caliper, and a 240mm disc at the rear (with dual-channel ABS from Bosch as standard). The 17-inch spoke wheels are wrapped in block pattern tyres for optimum performance on the trails. Another noticeable element is that the seat is quite accessible at 765mm. This, coupled with the 190kg heft, should make the bike fairly easy to maneuver in tight spaces.

Brixton Motorcycles have their presence across several international markets, including Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It will enter the North American market soon. KTM and Husqvarna are already working on a 500cc platform, with the bike(s) scheduled to be launched in 2022. We wonder if the upcoming Svartpilen 500 would look anything like this.
