It will be India’s first BS6-compliant two-wheeler to go on sale

Honda is all set to launch India’s first BS6-compliant two-wheeler, the 2019 Activa 125, tomorrow. Unveiled back in June this year, the 2019 Activa 125 is set to become Honda’s first BS6-compliant two-wheeler in the country. Recently, its technical specifications were leaked online and the upcoming scooter is, in fact, slightly less powerful than the outgoing model.

In comparison, the current-gen Activa 125 is priced from Rs 60,627 (ex-showroom Delhi). When launched, it will compete against the Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
In a related development, both Honda and Suzuki have confirmed that all their BS6-compliant products will be equipped with fuel injection. Honda also revealed that some of the two-wheelers from its current lineup might be discontinued.
