What’s the 2025 Honda NX200 get?

The 2025 Honda NX200 comes with an adventure-bike-inspired design. It has a muscular fuel tank, a short beak on the front and a tall visor. The bike also has an easy-to-reach handlebar and ADV-like body panels, all of which make it look similar to the CB200X. The NX200 also has an all-LED headlamp, sleek LED indicators, and an X-shaped LED tail lamp.

The new Honda NX200 is powered by the same 184.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the Honda CB200X, but the engine is now OBD-2B compliant. It produces a peak output of 17PS and 16.1Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

Featurewise, the 2025 NX200 comes with a new 4.2-inch TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync app compatibility that offers smartphone connectivity through Bluetooth. It offers features like turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts. The 200cc ADV also gets a USB type-C charging port. The Honda NX200 also gets the same 12-litre fuel tank capacity as the Honda CB200X.

Underpinnings on the bike include an inverted fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock. The bike is equipped with 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc, with dual channel ABS as standard now. It has 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, wrapped with 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres.

Rivals

The 2025 Honda NX200 rivals the other ADVs and dual sport bikes in the 150cc- 250cc segment like the Hero XPulse 200 4V, Hero XPulse 210 and upcoming Yamaha Lander 250.

BikeDekhoSays

The launch of the NX200 is a welcome development but has left us a bit disappointed. Honda could have used this opportunity to make some much-needed changes to the bike. Things which could have made it a lot more capable offroad like giving it larger spoke wheels, increasing the ground clearance and also offering features like switchable ABS.

The addition of traction control makes the bike feel much more premium now, but it doesn't make that much of a difference overall on a 180cc motorcycle. With the launch of the Hero XPulse 210, the 200cc ADV/dual-sport segment is a lot more competitive and it feels the NX200 falls short on its capabilities compared to the rest of the segment.
