It packs some really interesting features and impressive figures

Gurugram-based EV maker Benling has launched the new Believe e-scooter at Rs 97,520 (ex-showroom). The e-scooter packs some really interesting features and specs, here’s all that it gets.

In terms of appearance, Benling has taken elements off popular scooters for the design of the Believe. The large twin-LED headlight setup looks rather sporty and also resembles the Yamaha Aerox 155 in some ways. The side panels, too, get a sporty appeal with a muscular and edgy design language, almost TVS NTorq-like. Accentuating its confusing appearance is the wide single-piece seat with an increased pillion seat height.

Powering this e-scooter is a 3.2kW BLDC hub motor paired to a 3.2kWh swappable battery pack. Benling offers the e-scooter in NMC and LFP battery packs, to know the difference in these cell architectures, you can head to our sister website here.

The e-scooter claims a respectable top speed of 75kmph and an impressive 120km of range in the Eco mode. Similar to what you find on most electric two-wheelers, the Believe features four ride modes and regenerative braking. However, the functions of all the modes haven’t completely been disclosed.

The Believe features a telescopic fork and a dual shock absorber suspension setup. For braking, it gets discs at both ends and the e-scooter rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels. Another interesting thing about the Believe is that it has a 250kg loading capacity.

In terms of features, the Believe comes packed with all LED lighting, a digital instrument console with GPS, a side stand sensor, real-time tracking, a break-down assist and an anti-theft function. Additionally, it features a USB charger, remote keys and parking assist.

With the performance figures and features, the Benling Believe rivals the likes of the BGauss D15 and Okinawa Okhi90 in India, while being more affordable than both the e-scooters.
