The Chakan-based company will continue to sell the standard model till 1 April 2019, when the ABS/CBS norms are implemented or till stocks last. The ‘Anti Skid Technology’ works on the same principle as ‘Combined Braking System’ where the braking force is evenly distributed between the front and rear on the application of just the rear brake. Other than the safety update, the motorcycle remains unchanged both cosmetically and mechanically.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 115.45cc single-cylinder engine. It churns out 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm of torque, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear, while braking is handled by 110mm drum units on both ends.
