Vespa & Aprilia Scooters
Piaggio India have announced year end festive offers on their entire line up of scooters. Discounts of up to Rs 13,000 are available on both Vespa scooters and Aprilia scooters. The offers are valid till Christmas, 25 December 2024. However, the specific discount amount on each particular scooter model has not been disclosed yet.
Aprilia RS 457
Along with the announcement of the festive year end discounts on Piaggio’s entire scooter model range, the manufacturer also stated that the prices of the Aprilia RS 457 will be hiked next year, from January 2025 onwards. The increase will be of Rs 10,000 on the ex-showroom price of the bike. This means the RS 457’s new ex-showroom price will be Rs 4,20,000.
Despite the incoming price hike, the Aprilia RS 457 still remains more affordable than its rivals. The RS 457 goes up against the likes of the Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 500. All these 3 bikes have a parallel-twin engine layout in common between them. The Japanese duo are priced at a premium as they are CBUs in comparison to the locally produced Aprilia. The RS 457 also beats the other 2 bikes on the power front and the feature list it has to offer.
Also, the Aprilia RS 457 is currently being offered with a Rs 5,000 discount till the end of this year. The offer is valid till 31 December 2024 and it is available on all the 3 colour options the bike comes with.
