Kawasaki Ninja H2

Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 79.90 Lakh. It is available in India in 1 variant and 1 colour with high end variant price starting from Rs 79.90 Lakh. Ninja H2 is powered by a 998 ccbs6-2.0 engine which develops a power of 310 PS and a torque of 165 Nm. It has Double Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. Kawasaki hypersport range of motorcycles sold in India have received a price hike for 2019. For starters, the base-spec Ninja H2 gets a price bump of Rs 1.69 lakh for 2019. This pushes the price of the bike to Rs 34.99 lakh compared to the previous price of Rs 33.3 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The H2 Carbon, on the other hand, costs Rs 41.79 lakh, while the range-topping H2R gets a price tag of Rs 75.8 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). 

For 2019, the Japanese bike manufacturer has bumped up the power for the H2 & H2 Carbon from 205PS to 231PS (without ram air). With ram air, the power has gone up from 215PS to an insane 243PS! Peak torque has been increased from 133.5Nm to 141.7Nm too. 

Other updates include a smartphone-compatible TFT screen taken from the H2SX, an all-LED lighting system and a self-healing paint. The paint consists of soft and hard compounds that work together like a chemical spring, creating a trampoline effect that absorbs small impacts. The motorcycle also features new Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers holding the dual 330mm discs up front for better braking efficiency. The rear, on the other hand, employs a 250mm disc. The bike rides on 43mm fully adjustable inverted forks up front and an Ohlins TTX36 UniTrak with full adjustability at the rear.

The Ninja H2 range is sold in the country via the CBU route from Japan. Bookings will be open for a limited time, from September 1 to October 31 2018 and deliveries will commence in 2019, likely from January.
