The Most Sensible Litre Class Motorcycle
let me begin with saying that the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is possibly the best bang for the buck motorcycle today. At 9.99 lakhs ex-showroom what you get it a state-of-the-art engineered, in-Line four, litre class motorcycle.
For starters unlike super-sport the bike has a lot of usable power, great torqe-y engine in the low range, brilliantly responsive mid-range make it amazing to ride in the city and highways alike. I mean the attention it draws is crazy, else the bike could very well be a daily bike as well.
The Kawasaki brand makes bullet proof engines so that is a huge plus in this machine, be it smooth refinement or the sheer power.
it's possibly spaceship technology that the Ninja 1000 comes loaded with. 3 different traction modes, 2 power modes, cornering ABS and the rest of the works have been packed into this sports tourer.
Which brings me to its touring capability, comfort for rider and pillion is immaculate. Smal smaller details such as neutral stance for seating, great wind blast protection with the 3 stage adjustable wind screen, bright lights for the night better than a lot of the so-called modern LED lighting systems out there.
Not to discount the Sport DNA of the bike, in capable and experienced hands the Ninja 1000 can keep up with supersport machines, only to be left slightly behind at the extreme top end of the speedo and RPM dials.
it is a confidence inspiring handler at straight-line high speeds, as much as it has the ability to corner into knee grazing lean angles at triple digit speeds upwards of 150 even.
So to sum it up, supreme build quality, bullet proof engine, rocket-science electronics package (well at least for the price range it is superior to anything out there) perfect balance of the two DNA of sport and touring.
