Husqvarna Vitpilen 401

The Vitpilen 401 is likely to look similar to the international-spec bike. What makes us believe so is the recent spy image which showcases the Svartpilen 401 with spoke wheels. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 will be launched in India by the end of the year or by early-2021. 

Husqvarna unveiled the MY2020 Svartpilen 401 at the 2019 EICMA. Apart from new colours and updated graphics, both motorcycles now get a 40mm longer rear subframe along with a more comfortable seat. Even the rider seat appears to be scooped out for better comfort The motor and powertrain remain unchanged. 

The Vitpilen 401 is powered by a 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 43.5PS of power and 37Nm of torque, same as the BS6 KTM 390 Duke. In terms of hardware, the bike employs a steel trellis frame, a 43mm USD fork, and a monoshock from WP. Braking duties are handled by a large 320mm disc up front and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. Expect Husqvarna to price the 401 twins at around Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
