Prons: - The suspension is good enough. - For city purpose good bike. - Mileage is pretty good around 55-56kml. - Lightweight bike for new learners it is good. Cons: - The headlight is not good enough to cover the distance. - Missing Digital meter. - Disc brake missing.

i bought this four or five years ago . it is good for home and have a powerful angine , and great mileage also ... and its all parts are very costly comparison to other and that scooter have good speed and also goof for fun ride and that is drive easily by short girls or boys and it bike soccar is a ver goog and give excellent service .... and i used this scooter and i love it ........

I am using this scooter from 2014, after too many adjustments still I am getting only 25 KM/L. The power of this scooter is good, every thing except the mileage is good in this scooter. I informed this issue to the service center and each every time they will say it is fixed.

When I first saw this scooter, I decided to ask for this scooter on my birthday instead of Activa. The design was something I really fell far, the interesting rear end was something I had never seen before and on the other hand, it reminded me of Batman and I am a huge fan of Batman and his rides. I have thought of giving my machine an all Matte Black theme and make it look like a Batmobile. I am least concerned about its mileage but I think it has a bad mileage but great acceleration and pick-up. I love the way it rolls, its steady, smooth and simply incredible when it comes to handling and control. The comfort is high with fine legroom and good under seat storage space. I am very satisfied with the scooter. I wished it had an all digital instrument cluster.

Waiting & Buying Experience: The best part to start with is my sister yelled "oh Now Yamaha for girls...shieet" when i showed here the Auto expo 2012 ,a prototype model which was a combination of Black & Pink. She got so engrossed searching for the pros & cons and even waiting for the launch. I told to her that we already have 2 Yamaha bikes (MY YZF-R15 V2.0 & Grandpa's Alba 106) which don't she try the Vespa which is a damn exotic scooter with a heritage behind its back. I went to give my R15 v2.0 for free service in Anna nagar, Chennai i found a huge setup model of Deepika Padukone with the Tag " Life is an adventure " coming soon "YAMAHA" we already knew it's the most anticipated Debut of Yamaha in scooter segment and that is "RAY". My sister petrified as soon i made a call from the showroom and my dad & sister rushed to the showroom to pay an advance of 7000 INR for the booking with an assurance of delivery within 12 days. Yamaha didn't keep up with their words, u know Ray was Delivered to us just on the 7 day (Sept 26, 2012 ) after booking...ha ha. Back at home Test Riding,rides & more rides. Here is the Review. I found the soft spot immediately when i just rode within 2 kms, the scooter is very comfortable for any ride be it city or worst traffic or congested market streets. I'm surprised to see my all parts of the body is in so relaxed position when i cruise in ray. Now i understand with a smile that its good that i did not force a VESPA on my sister. The best part of Ray may be the YAMAHA Character!!...don't understand??...Its really powerful!!...it hits maximum torque in very less throttle and has a very decent top speed (90-95 kph) as said by the Yamaha guys. I comapred this with my dad's Honda Activa and i'm satisfied to say that this Yamaha is better than and more powerful than that WELL PROVEN Honda. The telescopic fork is a great favor in this scooter for absorbing bumps and braking rigidity. You have a storage space under seat but not good a space. u can keep your helmet and tool kit/puncture kit. The mileage we get now is 55-60kmpl, i expect a lot more after regular servicing. Verdict: Overall i can say that this scooter is wrongly tagged by YAMAHA as for GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS!!...no its a general unisex scooter that will satisfy all age customer be it men/women or aged 20s or 70s.Thanks to Yamaha, Congo guys u guys are up to making big market share now.
