हीरो एक्सट्रीम 125आर भारत में लॉन्च हो गई है। यह हीरो की पहली स्पोर्टी 125सीसी बाइक है जिसे दो वेरिएंट्सः आईबीएस और एबीएस में पेश किया गया है, जिनकी कीमत क्रमशः 95,000 रुपये और 99,500 रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम) है।
एक्सट्रीम 125 आर को अग्रेसिव डिजाइन के साथ उतारा गया है। इसका टैंक एक्सटेंशन काफी शार्प है और ये एंगुलर साइड पैनल में मिला हुआ है, वहीं टेल सेक्शन को ऊंचा रखा गया है जिससे इस बाइक को स्पोर्टी लुक मिल रहा है। इसकी हेडलाइट एक एलईडी प्रोजेक्टर यूनिट है जिसका डिजाइन काफी शार्प है।
इस नई हीरो बाइक में नया 125सीसी एयर-कूल्ड सिंगल सिलेंडर स्प्रिंट इंजन दिया गया है, जो 8250आरपीएम पर 11.55पीएस की पावर देता है। वहीं इसके कंपेरिजन में मौजूद टीवीएस रेडर का पावर आउटपुट 11.38पीएस और 11.2एनएम है। एक्सट्रीम 125 के इंजन में हीरो का आई3एस आईडल स्टार्ट-स्टॉप सिस्टम भी दिया गया है जो इसके माइलेज को थोड़ा बढ़ा देता है। कंपनी के अनुसार इस मोटरसाकिल को 0 से 60 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की स्पीड पकड़ने में 5.9 सेकंड लगते हैं और एक्सट्रीम 125 का सर्टिफाइड माइलेज 66 किलोमीटर प्रति लीटर बताया गया है।
यह बाइक डायमंड फ्रेम पर बनी है। इसमें आगे 37मिलीमीटर टेलिस्कॉपिक फॉर्क सस्पेंशन दिए गए हैं और पीछे की तरफ 7-स्टेप एडजस्टेबल मोनोशॉक सस्पेंशन दिए गए हैं। इसमें पीछे की तरफ 120/80 सेक्शन टायर चढ़े हैं जो एयर-कूल्ड 125सीसी बाइक सेगमेंट में सबसे ज्यादा चौड़े हैं। ब्रेकिंग के लिए इसमें आगे 276मिलीमीटर डिस्क (सेगमेंट में सबसे बड़े), और वेरिएंट के हिसाब से सेगमेंट फर्स्ट सिंगल-चैनल एबीएस या कंबाइंड ब्रेकिंग सिस्टम (सीबीएस) दिया गया है।
हीरो एक्सट्रीम 125आर बाइक के फीचर की बात करें तो इसमें फुल एलईडी लाइटिंग और सेगमेंट फर्स्ट हजार्ड लाइटें दी गई है। इसका इंस्ट्रूमेंट कंसोल एक नगेटिव एलसीडी यूनिट है जिसमें डिस्प्ले स्पीड, फ्यूल लेवल, गियर पोजिशन, और टेकोमीटर, ओडोमीटर, और ट्रिपमीटर जैसी जानकारियां डिस्प्ले होती है। इसमें कॉल और एसएमएस अलर्ट के लिए ब्लूटूथ कनेक्टिविटी भी मिलती है।
यह बाइक 3 कलरः कोबलेट ब्लू, फायरस्टॉर्म रेड और स्टालिन ब्लैक में उपलब्ध है। यह डीलरशिप पर 20 फरवरी 2024 को पहुंचेगी। इसका मुकाबला टीवीएस रेडर, बजाज पल्सर एनएस125 और होंडा एसपी125 से रहेगा।
