हीरो मोटोकॉर्प ने 2024 एक्सट्रीम 160 आर को भारत में लॉन्च कर दिया है और इसकी कीमत 1,11,111, रुपये रखी गई है जो पिछले मॉडल से 10,525 रुपये कम है जिसकी कीमत 1,21,636 (एक्स-शोरूम दिल्ली) थी। इस बाइक में अपडेटेड फीचर्स और कंफर्टेबल सीट्स दी गई है और ये केवल सिंगल डिस्क वेरिएंट के साथ स्टैल्थ ब्लैक कलर में ही उपलब्ध है।

2024 हीरो एक्सट्रीम 160आर 2वी में अपडेटेड फीचर्स दिए गए हैं जिसमें डी1 मोड के साथ नया ड्रैग रेस टाइमर दिया गया है जो 0 से 60 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे के एक्सलरेशन टाइमिंग को दिखाता है और डी2 मोड से क्वार्टर माइल का एक्सलरेशन टाइमिंग देखा जा सकता है।
नई एक्सट्रीम 160आर 2वी में 4वी मॉडल की तरह स्लीक और शार्प एलईडी टेललाइट दी गई है। इस टेललाइट मे 'एच' शेप का डिजाइन देखने को मिलता है।
इस बाइक में नई फ्लैट और लोअर पिलियन सीट दी गई है। इसके अलावा इसमें चंकी ग्रैब रेल्स भी दी गई है। साथ ही एक्सट्रीम 160आर 2वी में 276 मिलमीटर के पैटल फ्रंट डिस्क ब्रेक और 130 मिलीमीटर के रियर ड्रम ब्रेक दिए गए हैं जिसके साथ सिंगल चैनल एबीएस स्टैंडर्ड दिया गया है।
क्या नहीं बदला 2024 हीरो एकसट्रीम 160 आर 2वी में
हीरो एक्सट्रीम 160आर 2वी के इंजन और प्लेटफॉर्म में बदलाव नहीं हुआ है। इसमें पहले की तरह फुल एलसीडी इंस्ट्रूमेंट कंसोल दिया गया है। इसके अलावा इसमें 163सीसी, 2 वॉल्व, एयर कूल्ड,सिंगल सिलेंडर इंजन दिया गया है, जो 15.2 पीएस की पावर और 141 एनएम का टॉर्क जनरेट करता है और इस बाइक में 5 स्पीड ट्रांसमिशन दिया गया है।
Hero Xtreme 160R 2V में 37 मिलीमीटर टेलीस्कोपिक फोर्क और 7 स्टेप एडजस्टेबल मोनोशॉक दिए गए हैं। इसमें 17 इंच के अलॉय व्हील्स दिए गए हैं जिनपर 100 सेक्शन और 130 सेक्शन के रेडियल टायर चढ़ें हुए हैं। इस बाइक की सीट हाइट 790 मिलीमीटर है और इसमें 167 मिलीमीटर का ग्राउंड क्लीयरेंस दिया गया है और इसकी फुल टैंक कैपेसिटी 12 लीटर है।
मार्केट में हीरो एक्सट्रीम 160 आर 2वी का मुकाबला बजाज पल्सर एन150, टीवीएस अपाचे आरटीआर 160, होंडा एसपी160 और यामाहा एफजेडएस एफआई वी3 जैसी 150-160 सीसी बाइकों से है।

नई हीरो एक्सट्रीम 160आर 2वी अब काफी सस्ती हो चुकी है। हालांकि ये केवल सिंगल वेरिएंट में ही उपलब्ध है और इसमें ज्यादा कलर ऑप्शंस भी नहीं दिए गए हैं। यदि आपको ज्यादा कलर ऑप्शंस चाहिए तो फिर आपको इससे महंगी एक्सट्रीम 160आर 4वी से लेनी होगी।

- Totally worth for money .Over and all Hero is a good choice for me my whole family have a Bikes of hero. They keep the basic things in mind and make a bike which I feel a a good for a rider. I would be very thankful to Hero for the bike they have made special for 160. I did a ride to Nagpur to ladakh and it was like a 160 cc bike cant do that but unfortunately I did . It was like impossible to possible. The whole credit goes to Hero how bike has been designed and the speed mileage . It feels like no problem even the off-roading also feel like I am sitting in a 4-5 Lakhs bike. Heads off to Hero again. Yes absolutely this bike is like a heaven for middle class people the style, the looks and many more totally worth for the value of the bike. I would always recommend this bike for everyone. The bike feels light, handles traffic easily, and stays stable on highways. Power delivery is clean, braking feels confident, and comfort is good for daily rides. Yes, I would recommend it. The bike is comfortable, easy to ride, and performs well in daily use. It looks good, gives decent mileage, and is reliable for both city and highway riding. - Excellent Bike, A good Choice for Long Ride EnjoyHero Xtreme 160 R gave me a thrilling Long Drive experience with its 160 cc Engine and smooth Acceleration up to max 110 Kmph and No vibrations at cruising speeds; It is perfect for Hyderabad roads. Suspension absorbs potholes well, offered me very comfort. However, it gave me maximum 43 km per 1 ltr petrol. Its breaking system is wonderful, even in an emergency Stops.
