एथर एनर्जी ने रिज्टा फैमिली इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर का प्रोडक्शन शुरू कर दिया है। कंपनी के सीईओ तरूण मेहता ने सोशल मीडिया एक्स पर इस इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की पहली यूनिट की फोटो शेयर की है। इसका मतलब ये हुआ है इस ई-स्कूटर की डिलीवरी जल्द शुरू होगी।

एथर रिज्टा बेंगलुरु बेस्ड कंपनी का पहला फैमिली फोकस इलेक्ट्रिक कार है। इसकी कीमत 1,09,999 रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम दिल्ली) से शुरू होती है। यह तीन वेरिएंट्सः रिज्टा एस और बेस रिज्टा जेड (2.9 केडब्ल्यूएच बैटरी पैक के साथ), और टॉप मॉडल रिज्टा जेड (3.7 केडब्ल्यूएच बैटरी पैक के साथ) में उपलब्ध है।
एथर रिज्टा में 4.3 किलोवॉट मोटर लगी है और इसकी टॉप स्पीड 80 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे बताई गई है। इसमें दो बैटरी पैक - 2.9 केडब्ल्यूएच और 3.7 केडब्ल्यूएच की चॉइस दी गई है, जिनकी सर्टिफाइड रेंज क्रमशः 123 किलोमीटर और 160 किलोमीटर है।

रिज्टा इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर में दो राइडिंग मोडः स्मार्ट ईको और जिप दिए गए हैं। एस वेरिएंट में 7-इंच एलसीडी स्क्रीन और जेड वेरिएंट में 7-इंच टीएफटी इंस्ट्रूमेंट कंसोल दिया गया है। इस ई-स्कूटर में एथर 450एक्स वाले फीचर दिए गए हैं जिनमें हिल होल्ड असिस्ट, रिवर्स मोड, स्मार्ट ईको मोड, और फॉल सेफ (जो स्कूटर के गिरने पर मोटर बंद कर देता है) आदि शामिल है। रिज्टा में ‘मैजिक ट्विस्ट’ और रिजन ब्रेकिंग फंक्शन भी दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा इसमें अलग-अलग डिवाइस को चार्ज करने के लिए मल्टी-पर्पज चार्जिंग पोर्ट, और ‘एथरस्किडकंट्रोल’ (ट्रेक्शन कंट्रोल), और इमरजेंसी स्टॉप सिग्नल (ईएसएस) जैसे फीचर भी दिए गए हैं। इसकी कुल स्टोरेज कैपेसिटी 56 लीटर है, जिसमें 34 लीटर बूट स्पेस और 22 लीटर फ्रंक स्पेस शामिल है।
एथर रिज्टा इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर का मुकाबला टीवीएस आईक्यूब, ओला एस1 एयर, एम्पेयर नेक्सस, हीरो विडा वी1 प्रो और बजाज चेतक से है।
