    Of course, this is the No.1 reason for such a massive shift to electric vehicles (EVs). They run on electric motors, and not use fossil fuels, which means they don’t let out any pollutants. In effect, the increasing adoption of EVs is being promoted to negate the major role that internal combustion-engined (ICE) vehicles have played in the world’s overall carbon emissions.
    No Maintenance
    Even after months of daily driving, all that an electric two-wheeler requires is regular cleaning and the occasional lubrication. They have very few moving parts and mechanicals compared to their conventional petrol-powered bikes and scooters. Also, they don’t require engine oil or air filters which are the commonly replaced components on a ICE vehicle. Hence, only basic parts need maintenance.
    No Noise
    Apart from polluting the air, conventional two-wheelers with petrol engines are quite noisy. A few actually enjoy this noise, but most would rather do away with it. With an electric two-wheeler, that is just what you can do, as the electric motor makes only a light hum even at full speed, reducing the overall noise pollution of your city.
    Cost Efficient
    Electric two-wheelers usually come with two types of cost benefits - no maintenance over time and a more stable energy source price. Since electric bikes and scooters run on electricity, they’re relatively more affordable. The price of electricity does not fluctuate as frequently as that of petrol and diesel. So, you will always pay relatively less to recharge and run your electric two-wheeler. In fact, some electric two-wheelers have a running cost of 1/10th of a ICE vehicle.
    Government Incentives
    Various countries and governments across the world have developed frameworks and implemented laws to promote the ownership of electric two-wheelers. In India, the government provides FAME II incentives, which bring down the on-road price of an electric two-wheeler considerably.
    Higher Initial Investment
    Since electric two-wheelers are not as widely manufactured as their conventional cousins, their cost is still quite high. This makes EVs inaccessible for a large population, as not everyone is willing or can afford to pay the high premium. The primary reason for the high cost of electric two-wheelers is the lithium-ion batteries, which sometimes can be 50 per cent more than the cost of the vehicle itself.
    Short Range
    With the current level of battery technology, the range of an electric two-wheeler is mostly lesser than that of its conventionally powered counterpart. This coupled with the limited charging infrastructure deters EV buyers.
    Not-so-great on performance
    Most of the premium, modern electric two-wheelers have an unimpressive top speed for the price they command. Sure, the initial acceleration is high but electric motors usually lose their steam as the speeds climb. None of the reasonably priced modern electric two-wheelers sold in India is properly highway worthy so far. Even the high-speed electric scooters on sale have a top speed in the range of 60-80kmph and are priced over Rs 1 lakh.
    Charging Infrastructure
    The lack of good charging infrastructure poses a problem, particularly in developing countries such as India. Once that is taken care of, it could essentially eliminate range or future anxieties that plague electric two-wheeler owners. While growth is expected in the next few years, finding a charging point right when you need it is not as easy as finding a fuel bunk yet.
    Charge times
    It takes just two minutes to refuel a bike or a scooter, but charging an electric vehicle can take a couple of hours at the bare minimum. Yes, there is the advantage of quick charging tech now, which can give your EV a full charge in just about an hour. However, don’t expect to find these fast chargers everywhere just yet. Moreover, not all electric two-wheelers have fast-charging capability as it puts additional strain on the battery’s life. That said, a few companies have adopted swappable battery technology, which is a novel way to minimise downtime while charging and also reduce range anxiety to a certain extent.
    Limited Options
    This may be a temporary concern considering the influx of EVs expected from varied manufacturers over the next couple of years. Currently, however, you can count the available options on your fingertips. Thanks to the limitation in battery technology, the range remains limited too. This is one of the reasons why most manufacturers dabble in the scooter segment rather than the motorcycle space.
    Scooters are generally associated with urban runabouts and hence, it makes sense for brands to introduce electric options. Motorcycles are a different ballgame as the usage is always expected to be higher, and consequently, they’re expected to offer better range. The Indian two-wheeler segment is still some way from offering electric motorcycles that are good enough to replace a conventional petrol-powered two-wheeler.

      A perfect combination of speed and distance.....
      Nothing special only for looks. This bikes comes in a decent adventures looks which attracted my for have a test drive and after the ride I was sure that I should go for this bike. Because it fulfilled my needs. I made a ride 164 km that is the widest rage I ran this bike and if you ask the experience is quite good and decent. In shorts I love this bike speed because even in high air flow area this bike stands with smooth bike. I am recommending this bike because this bike easy to handle and performs really good and also gives a smooth experience. For a rider this is necessary that bike should give a smooth texture and no pain while riding. And this comes under all my expertise. So that's it.

      Best purchase of my life
      Awesome power delivery and safety features. Best for city commuting and also medium offroading. Pillion riding is also good. Add on features like tpms and rear and front camera is like a good upgrade. Original variant is enough for a guy with daily ride of 70km per day average. For long touring and if having range anxiety go for recon or recon plus model. I plan my rides properly so i all end up only using at 20 percentage remaining. Best for bad roads and cities and also highways. This bike is a cross over so any rider can choose it for there benefits. It has got switchable traction control as well as abs also. Best range is achieved in the city with regeneration on at level 9.

Rajasthan mai Jaipur leke jana padta hai train m dal kar. Aj k time sab daily 60 km kam se kam up down karte hai or iska matlab hai kam se kam 200 rs jo oben ki ev bike se 30 rs kharch hote hai, daily 200 rs se bhi count kre to iske warranty period mai vassol ho jate hai isliye best hai.

    A) इलेक्ट्रिक बाइक्स की मेंटेनेंस कॉस्ट काफी कम होती है और इसे मेंटेन करना भी बेहद आसान होता है। पेट्रोल पावर्ड टू-व्हीलर के मुकाबले इलेक्ट्रिक बाइक की रनिंग कॉस्ट काफी कम होती है। कई इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर की रनिंग कॉस्ट प्रति किमी पेट्रोल पावर्ड बाइक या स्कूटर का लगभग 1/10वां हिस्सा होती है।

    Q) सिंगल चार्ज पर इलेक्ट्रिक मोटरसाइकिल में मुझे कितनी रेंज मिल सकती है?

    A) भारत में अधिकतर इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की ऑन-रोड रेंज 75 किलोमीटर से 90 किलोमीटर के बीच है। इलेक्ट्रिक मोटरसाइकिल्स में बड़ा बैटरी पैक लगा होता है और यह सिंगल चार्ज पर यह 100 से 110 किलोमीटर तक की रेंज तय करने में सक्षम होती हैं। लेकिन, यह नंबर हाई-स्पीड और प्रीमियम इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर्स के लिए है। ज्यादा अफोर्डेबल इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल की कम रेंज होती है।

    A) यदि इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर या बाइक की टॉप स्पीड 25 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे है तो ऐसे में आपको उसे चलाने के लिए टू-व्हीलर लाइसेंस या व्हीकल रजिस्ट्रेशन की जरूरत पड़ सकती है।

    A) इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर 0 आरपीएम से टॉर्क जनरेट करना शुरू करती हैं। ऐसे में इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल्स एक्सलरेशन के मामले में काफी फ़ास्ट होते हैं।  लेकिन, रेंज को सीमित रखने के लिए अधिकतर इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर मैन्युफेक्चरर बाइक्स की टॉप स्पीड 65 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे से 85 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे के बीच रखते हैं। वर्तमान में भारत में बिक्री के लिए उपलब्ध सबसे फ़ास्ट इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर एथर 450एक्स है जो 0-60 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की स्पीड को महज 6.5 सेकंड में तय कर लेता है।

    Q) क्या इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर/मोटरसाइकिल के लिए इंश्योरेंस की जरूरत पड़ती है?

    A) हां, इंटरनल कंबशन पावर्ड टू-व्हीलर (आईसी इंजन) की तरह ही इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर को भी इंश्योरेंस की जरूरत पड़ती है।

    A) वर्तमान में किसी भी इलेक्ट्रिक मोटरसाइकिल में ट्रेडिशनल गियरबॉक्स नहीं मिलते हैं। ट्रांसमिशन सिस्टम में मैकेनिकल गियर दिए जा सकते हैं जिससे कि मोटर से पावर को रियर व्हील तक पहुंचाया जा सके।
